**Chris Hansen thinks he can just waltz into our town and play judge, jury, and internet celebrity?**
Saw on the news that Hansen was "investigating" some local guy for allegedly trying to meet a minor. Look, I get it. Predators are scum. Everyone with an ounce of common sense knows that.
But who gave this guy the authority to run a sting operation in our community? He’s not a cop. He’s a reporter from 2005 who now works for a streaming service. We have actual police for this. What happened to due process? What happened to “innocent until proven guilty”? Now some local landscaper is on blast on YouTube before he’s even seen a judge, and Hansen is acting like he’s the sheriff.
Common sense says: let the professionals handle it, stop trying to be a TikTok hero, and maybe focus on the actual crime happening on Main Street instead of chasing clout in a parking lot. This town deserves better than a circus.
