**FBI Issues "Urgent Common Sense" Alert on Microsoft OneDrive — Here’s What You Need to Know**

🚨 **BREAKING: FBI Warns OneDrive Users to Stop Doing This ONE Thing Immediately** 🚨

Posted by Karen M. in the “West Creek Neighborhood Watch & Chat” group.

I don’t care if you’re a tech whiz or can barely forward an email — this is about good old-fashioned common sense. My cousin’s neighbor’s son works in cyber security, and he just forwarded me the **FBI’s latest alert on Outlook/OneDrive phishing scams**.

According to the alert, cybercriminals are sending fake "OneDrive" sharing emails that look identical to the real Microsoft notifications. They say a document has been shared with you, and when you click "Open," it asks you to log in to "verify your account." **THAT’S WHERE THEY STEAL YOUR PASSWORD.**

Common sense says: **DON’T CLICK THE LINK.** If you weren’t expecting a document from someone, don’t open it. Period.

But wait — it gets worse. The FBI says these scammers are now using the MAIL feature inside OneDrive itself to send fake alerts. So you think it’s coming from a trusted contact, but it’s actually a hacked account.

Here’s my two cents: if the FBI has to tell grown adults not to click on “Free iPhone” links in their email, we have bigger problems. But in case you’re new here:

✅ **Enable multi-factor authentication** on your Microsoft account.
✅ **Don’t click login links inside emails** — go directly to onedrive.com.
✅ **If an email looks urgent or threatens to delete your files, it’s a scam.**

Share this before your uncle loses his entire tax return folder. Stay sharp, folks.
