Crossfire Erupts Over New Bike Lane as Neighbors Are Almost Hit by Cars Dodging Traffic – Where Is Common Sense?

I live on this street, and it’s absolute chaos now. They put in this narrow bike lane, and cars are swerving into oncoming traffic to avoid hitting cyclists. My kid almost got clipped by a minivan yesterday playing on the sidewalk. Common sense would tell you you can’t just shove a bike lane into an already tight road and expect no crossfire between drivers and pedestrians. The city needs to rip it out or fix it before someone gets killed, but no, they’re too busy patting themselves on the back for being “green.” Give me a break.
