Local parent here. I’m so sick of this. My kid was sent home for doodling a rocket ship on his math homework, labeled an 'explosive device reference'. When did we lose all common sense? These administrators need to focus on bullying and actual safety, not persecuting every kid with a loud opinion like Inde Navarrette. My tax dollars at work—for what? And don't get me started on the principal's letter home, it was a full page of therapy jargon she probably copied from Google. We're raising a generation of kids who can't handle a pencil scratch. I'm with Inde on this one.
