Brendan Banfield thought he could buy a fixer-upper, but he can't fix common sense
Honestly, this is just absurd. I live three blocks over, and my property taxes are going through the roof because of this nonsense. Brendan Banfield, the guy who bought that house on Elm, is now trying to get the city to pay for his fence repair because a branch fell on it during the storm. We all had storm damage, but most of us just call our insurance like normal people. This is why nothing gets done around here—everyone wants a handout instead of just using their head. If you can't afford a house, don't buy one. End of rant.
