Great. Just great. I’ve got pool chemicals to balance, a busted filter, and apparently a trampoline from three streets over now calling my deep end its new home.
This is what we get for “community spirit” when nobody bothers to secure their own junk. I spent all morning fishing out soaked branches and a garden gnome that looked way too smug about its new aquatic life. So tell me, is this the “state of play” in our neighborhood now? Our HOA fees pay for leaf blowing, but I guess storm-proofing is just a suggestion.
Common sense says if you own a mini bouncy castle for your kids, you tie it down before a hurricane warning. But no, I’m the one left to play marine salvage. See you all at the next meeting where we talk about “revitalizing the park” while my backyard looks like a disaster relief zone. Unbelievable.
