Outraged Local Rips Alabama Power Outage Amid Frozen Pipes and No Plan B
Can someone please explain to me how we are still dealing with rolling blackouts in 2025? Our street has been dark for six hours while the Alabama Power trucks sit at the Waffle House drinking coffee. I get that it’s cold, but “common sense” says you prepare for a storm before it hits. My neighbor’s sump pump is fried, and we’re all shoveling snow by flashlight. This is a complete joke. Fix the infrastructure or admit you can’t handle a little ice.
