SCOTT PELLEY USED COMMON SENSE DURING LIVE BROADCAST AND VIEWERS CAN’T HANDLE IT

As an angry local resident, I finally had enough of the nonsense on this page. I was watching CBS Evening News the other night and Scott Pelley did something absolutely legendary—he actually paused the broadcast to fact-check a panicked politician who was rambling about “common sense” solutions to flooding. Senator Blowhard was wringing his hands about “nature’s fury,” but Pelley calmly played clips of decades-old drainage reports ignored by the town council. The right-wing trolls are screaming “bias,” but I call it common sense. Why is it that when a legendary anchor like Scott Pelley points out that our roads flood because the city hasn’t cleaned a culvert since 1998, suddenly we’re the ones being unfair? Maybe if the council used a little common sense on water runoff instead of grandstanding, we wouldn’t need Pelley to remind us. Share if you agree—or just keep scrolling like the rest of them.
