I can't believe this is happening on our streets again. The Israel Day parade is nothing but an excuse for political grandstanding that disrupts our daily lives and taxes common sense. Shut down downtown traffic for hours so a few can march around flags while the rest of us can't even get to work without a detour. My tax dollars pay for these police barricades and overtime, but I guess 'diversity' means we all just pay the price. How about some common sense reform: keep the politics off our roads and focus on real community issues, like potholes and garbage pickup.
