I’m sorry, but what is wrong with people? My 12-year-old came home yesterday laughing with his friends about some “subservient ghostface website” they found on a school Chromebook. You know, that creepy Scream mask thing that supposedly does whatever you type? It’s not a game. It’s a gateway to a bunch of clicking nonsense that distracts them from learning, and now they’re all quoting it in class. Teachers say it’s “critical thinking” to let them explore it. No. Critical thinking is teaching my kid not to waste time on junk when the math book is open. Common sense. That’s what we need, not another digital babysitter.
