So I see all these tech bros drooling over the Steam Deck, spending $650 on a handheld to play games they already own on a PC. Meanwhile, my 9-year-old Switch still works fine and I didn't have to take out a second mortgage.
"But it's revolutionary!" they cry. Revolutionary? You mean a $700 console that can't even play Call of Duty natively and has the battery life of a wet napkin? I've seen my neighbor's kid chugging Red Bull trying to hustle through a game before the thing dies on him. That's supposed to be "progress"?
And don't get me started on the screen. "OLED is better" they whine. Yeah, for $200 more you can see your pixel-perfect tears as you realize you could've bought two whole Nintendo Switches and had money left over for an actual vacation.
Wake up, people. You're paying premium prices to play Skyrim... again. On a handheld that runs Linux and requires a degree in computer science just to install a mod.
