Just got off the phone with my cousin in Amarillo – and I’m seeing the same thing here in Lubbock. Our Texas election results are in, and I’m honestly scratching my head.
We had a chance to vote for real, proven leadership – folks who actually understand that a rising cost of living and open borders don’t mix with “Texas values.” Instead, we elected more of the same old “do-nothing” politicians who couldn’t balance a lemonade stand budget, let alone our state budget.
I don’t care what party you’re in – WHERE IS THE COMMON SENSE? We’re paying $5 for a gallon of milk, our kids can’t get a decent education, and the border is a free-for-all. But hey, at least we got some feel-good promises and a few billboards.
Tell me I’m wrong. If you voted for the same people who have been in office for a decade, you voted for this mess. Wake up, Texas. We deserve better than this.
