I’m sorry, but someone needs to say it before we all lose our minds. The council’s decision to shut down Main Street for yet another “art installation” feels like something straight out of Resident Evil: Code Veronica. You expect a giant mutant spider or a zombie Tyrant to pop out of a dumpster next. Common sense would tell you to warn folks with bulldozers, not block the only detour route. Instead, we’re sitting in a two-mile gridlock because of a giant inflatable flamingo and a strobe light. Call me crazy, but in the real world, we clear the traffic before we put up the laser show.
