TL;DR - So apparently the 'great lakes' are just Mother Nature's version of a flooded basement, and some guy in Michigan tried to build a dock on Lake Michigan but found out it's basically a giant toilet for algae and invasive species. Now the DNR is mad at him for calling it out. Reddit, am I the asshole for thinking this is exactly the level of quality we deserve from our inland seas?
