YTA for replacing my copy of Resident Evil: Code Veronica with a different game disc and I’m not sure who’s more psycho here.
TL;DR: My friend “borrowed” my prized PS2 copy of Resident Evil: Code Veronica to “relive the nostalgia,” gave it back two weeks later, and I notice the disc art is slightly off—turns out he swapped it with a burned copy of the game but the case still has the original artwork. Now I’m getting hate from his group for being “ungrateful” because he was “doing me a favor” by testing if my console could read burned discs. AITA for calling him out on social media and including a photo of the disc with a comment about how this is exactly the kind of puzzle-solving that would confuse a new player in Resident Evil: Code Veronica?
