OH GREAT, ANOTHER PARKINSON'S DISEASE 'CURE' THAT COMMON SENSE COULD HAVE FIXED.
Just saw the headlines about that new "breakthrough" treatment for parkinson's disease that involves some billion-dollar gene therapy. Meanwhile, my neighbor Bob has been managing his symptoms for ten years by just eating right and going for walks. But no, the medical mafia won't tell you that because they can't patent fresh air. This is the same common sense that would tell you not to build a bike lane across a busy intersection, but apparently, we've lost that. How about we use that research money to make sure our local hospital can actually get a doctor to see my wife's arthritis in under three months? But I'm just a grumpy local, what do I know.
