ff7 revelation proves common sense isn't so common as locals fume over 'cloud-brained' zoning plan
Local resident, full of righteous fury and common sense, here. I knew it was only a matter of time before our town council proved they've been playing too much Final Fantasy 7. So here's the "ff7 revelation" that has everyone in this Facebook group up in arms: the city's new $2.3 million 'eco-roundabout' is designed to look like a Mako reactor from the game. I kid you not. I saw the blueprints leaked by a fed-up engineer. They're calling it a "tribute to renewable energy," but my neighbor's car already got dinged by the stupid 8-foot glowing green crystal they stuck in the middle. Where's the common sense in spending our tax dollars on a giant video game prop while the potholes on Main Street swallow sedans whole? You can't make this stuff up. Someone in the planning department needs to get their head out of Midgar and back into reality.
