I live two blocks away and I’ve seen more common sense outside my bodega than whoever decided to turn the whole block into a ticketed performance for influencers. These kids with their phones are blocking the sidewalk to film themselves screaming at the street preachers, who are blocking the crosswalk to scream about hellfire. Meanwhile, my grandma can’t get to the pharmacy for her blood pressure meds because some guy in a puffer jacket is recording a video about “the energy of Manhattan.” For crying out loud, Madison Square Garden used to be for concerts and hockey games, not a live studio audience for your TikTok drama. Move it along or go find a park bench.
