Red Lobster Announces 'Among Us Show' Themed Family Meal Promotion To Boost Sales
WASHINGTON, D.C. — The troubled seafood chain Red Lobster has announced a new partnership with the popular online game "Among Us," launching an "Among Us Show" themed family meal promotion, effective immediately.
According to a press release issued Wednesday, the collaboration will feature a limited-time "Crewmate Combo" meal, designed to appeal to families and younger demographics. The promotion, which officials describe as a strategic pivot to reverse declining sales and a recent bankruptcy filing, includes a special menu box adorned with characters from the game's animated series adaptation, the "Among Us Show."
Company representatives stated that the meal will be available at participating locations nationwide while supplies last. The menu item will cost $24.99 and includes a choice of four cheddar biscuits, two family-size sides, and a selection of shrimp or fish entrees.
This marks the first major partnership for Red Lobster since exiting Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings in September. The move has drawn mixed reactions from investors, with some market analysts describing it as an unconventional but necessary effort to reconnect with a younger customer base.
The "Among Us Show" campaign is scheduled to run for six weeks.
