Paramount Skydance Merger Streaming Services: Finally Some Common Sense in Hollywood?
Another day, another corporate handshake that'll probably just mean higher prices for all of us. I see the headlines about this big Paramount Skydance merger streaming services deal. So now we get to pay for *more* content we don't want, bundled into a service that crashes every time a show gets popular? Instead of figuring out how to just make good TV again, they're combining two giant piles of debt into one. It's common sense to see this is just a move to squeeze more money out of the average family. Can't we just have one service that works, doesn't spy on us, and actually has shows that weren't written by a committee in a boardroom? This is why nobody trusts the industry anymore.
