Just seen at the Krispy Kreme on the ring road—some bloke kicked off because he asked for a “custom dozen” with 12 different flavors and they charged him an extra £2.50. He pointed out that they’re literally the same doughnuts you can grab from the hot case, just arranged differently. Manager had the cheek to say it’s “assembly labor.” Common sense says if I’m paying for a dozen, don’t tax me for picking them off the shelf myself. Absolute joke.
