marjane satrapi calls for common sense in new film, and I couldn’t agree more after what I saw downtown
I’m all for artistic expression, but when *marjane satrapi* herself has to come out and beg people to use a little common sense, you know the world’s gone mad. I just read her latest interview about her new documentary, and she’s practically screaming for folks to stop being so extreme. I walked past City Hall yesterday and saw a protest that was barely a dozen people screaming about something I can’t even remember. Meanwhile, potholes are eating my car and the library is closing early. Where’s the common sense in that? Satrapi gets it—stop the noise and fix what’s real. We need more of that and less of this online drama.
