This County’s New 'Safe Graduation' Rules Ban Students from Throwing Their Own Hats Up in the Air at the Ceremony.
I’m sorry, but what is wrong with people? A school board has literally voted to make it a “safety violation” for a graduate to toss their cap in the air because someone might trip or some kid might want to sue for getting poked in the eye. My kid worked four years for that moment, and now you’re telling me it’s a “disruptive behavior.” Common sense says if you don’t want to get hit by a hat, sit in the back. We’ve officially graduated from having any common sense at all.
