Just heard about the latest Ford Bronco recall, and I can't make this stuff up. These $60,000 off-road machines are being yanked back because the cup holders are apparently designed by the same folks who think a paper clip is a tool. My neighbor's 2023 Bronco just got its third recall in two years, and now they're telling him they need to replace the entire center console because "the cup holder clips might fail and spill hot coffee onto the driver's lap." Common sense says if you can't build a cup holder that holds a cup, maybe you shouldn't be building cars. Meanwhile, my 1995 F-150 still has functional cup holders from the Reagan era. Irony is dead.
