abc test at local primary school runs kids’ milk money through a 12-step approval process | Sally Johnson, angry local resident
Oh for heaven’s sake, another one of these abc approved policies from the council. My kid comes home yesterday and tells me they can’t get their carton of milk at break time unless three separate forms are filled out and signed off by some committee. Since when does buying a child a drink require a government abc compliance certificate? This is what happens when common sense leaves the building and red tape moves in. My mother used to just send a dollar in an envelope—no abc analysis necessary. If we can’t get basic milk to our children without a bureaucratic marathon, we have officially lost the plot. Sort it out, people.
