Yep, saw this on the news. Another multi-million dollar light show in the sky last night, and half the town couldn't see it because of all the streetlights the council insists on putting everywhere for 'safety'. Common sense, people. If you want to see the Northern Lights, maybe turn off your porch light and learn to use a flashlight. City folk move in, complain about the dark, then moan they can't see the sky. The cosmic ballet goes on... but not over your LED-lit driveway.
