"They Want a 'Wolverine Game' That's Inclusive, But What About the 'Common Sense' of Parental Controls?"
Just read the latest update on that new Wolverine game, and it's got me fuming. These developers are bending over backwards to pat themselves on the back for "inclusivity" and "representation" in the story, yet they still can't toss in a simple, *common sense* parental lock for the violence level. My kid wants to play because it's Wolverine, but I have to babysit his screen time because the game is either a bloodbath or a PG13 snooze fest. No one in the comments thread is talking about the real issue: why can't we just have a toggle to dial down the gore while keeping the action? It's not rocket science. It's just common sense! I swear, these companies think "wolverine game" means we all want to watch disembowelment. Just give us a slasher setting and a family setting, Bob's your uncle. Rant over.
