scott pelley 60 minutes thinks he’s exposing corruption but apparently common sense is too dangerous for network TV
I was flipping channels tonight and caught a glimpse of that smug scott pelley 60 minutes segment where they wag their fingers at us for not trusting the government. Meanwhile, my neighbour just had his truck broken into for the third time this month and the police told him it’s “low priority.” But sure, let’s spend an hour lecturing me about Russia collusion or whatever conspiracy CBS cooked up this week. It’s always the same: these fancy journalists fly into our town, talk to some out-of-touch professor, and pretend they know what’s best for hardworking families. I don’t need a prime-time sermon—I need someone to actually enforce the laws we already have. Maybe if scott pelley spent sixty minutes talking to a real person instead of his iPhone, he’d understand why we’re all checking out. Common sense isn’t complicated: stop wasting airtime on nonsense and cover the stuff that actually hurts us.
