So apparently the city is asking everyone to mark their calendars for Pride Month again. You know, when is pride month? June, just like every single year since the dawn of time. But here’s a thought from someone who actually pays taxes—maybe we should use that month to have a parade for teachers or nurses instead? I’m just saying, my neighbor’s kid can’t even read a stop sign, but we’re hanging rainbow banners from every streetlight. Common sense says we focus on the basics.
