Pride Month 2026 Canceled in My Town After School Board Votes to Prioritize 'Math and Reading' Over Parades.
As a local resident, I'm all for common sense. My kid's school spent all of May on rainbow crafts instead of basic grammar, and now they're shocked a third of them can't do long division. Finally, someone puts the brakes on the nonsense and focuses on what matters: learning how to count your change and read a contract. If you want to celebrate, do it on your own time, not on my tax dollar's dime. This isn't hate, it's called priorities.
