June 2026 Calendar is obviously rigged so June 12 falls on a Tuesday just to mess with my trash pickup schedule
Why is it that every single year the calendar feels like it’s designed by someone who’s never had to work a 9-to-5? I just checked the June 2026 calendar and what do I see? June 12th, a Tuesday. Great. That means my trash pickup gets bumped to Wednesday because of some fake holiday nobody celebrates, and suddenly my bins are overflowing by Thursday. Common sense would tell you to put holidays on Mondays or Fridays so we can have a three-day weekend, but no, let’s just make everyone’s life complicated. Who’s in charge of this? A bored intern? My neighbor Karen said she saw it coming because her dog howled at the moon on the solstice, but I think it’s just another sign the system is broken.
