American Airlines Route Suspensions Prove Once Again That Common Sense is Optional at the Airport
I’m just shaking my head reading about these American Airlines route suspensions in our own backyard. Cutting direct flights because of “pilot shortages” and “low demand” is just a fancy way of saying they don’t care about us regular folks who need to get to work or see family. My nephew was supposed to fly out next week, and now he has to take two layovers. It’s not rocket science—people want convenience, not a 10-hour detour. Maybe if they stopped overcomplicating things and just ran a schedule that makes sense, these route suspensions wouldn’t be necessary. When will these big corporations actually listen to common sense?
