Oh, for crying out loud. I just saw this on the news and I can’t believe it. A guy jumps into a pond to save a dog that was drowning—doing what any decent human being would do—and now the HOA slaps him with a $250 fine for "unauthorized access to the community water feature." You can’t make this stuff up. The dog was literally going under, and these pencil-pushers want to talk about bylaws? Where’s the common sense? If I were on that board, I’d be handing the man a medal and a free steak dinner, not a bill. How about we fine the real nuisances—the ones who leave trash out for raccoons. The man’s a hero with a heart the size of jupiter, and they’re nickel-and-diming him for it. Unreal.
