Seems like every holiday these days needs a corporate sponsor and a government study group, but here we are with 'Juneteenth' being touted as some big celebration while our actual town can't even fix the potholes on Main Street. Common sense would say to honor hard work and community service every day, not just hand out a paid day off for everyone to grill and post hashtags while the local kids still don't have a decent summer job program. So much for 'freedom' when the real price of living keeps going up.
