So, I see the tech wizards are all excited about an “anthropic ipo” that’s going to make them billionaires. Great. More AI replacing the last few humans who still have jobs. Does anyone else remember when a company had to actually, you know, make a profit? Or at least a toaster that just makes toast? Now my ‘smart’ fridge texts me to buy oat milk, my new car won’t start because the ‘license reminder’ subscription expired, and you want to IPO a program that writes emails? Can we just get back to a world where a screwdriver doesn’t require a firmware update? Let’s use some common sense for five minutes.
