Local man uses common sense to stop HOA from turning neighborhood pond into missile testing site
So I’m just sitting here reading the latest from our HOA board, and they actually proposed turning our stormwater pond into a “community missile testing range” for some local engineering firm’s project. They said it would bring jobs. And I said, what about the children playing nearby? What about the ducks? My neighbor Frank looked at me like I had three heads when I asked, “Where’s the common sense in launching rockets 50 feet from a playground?” They actually shut it down after I pointed out the safety waivers would probably need to be signed in blood. Now everyone’s mad at me for killing “progress.” Progress, my foot. Keep your missiles off my suburban pond. #CommonSense #HOAHorrors
