That's the problem with the modern world, isn't it? All these massive, unfunded projects while our roads are full of potholes. I saw a video the other day about our new billion-dollar fighter aircraft finally taking off, all for a taxpayer-funded project that solves problems we don't even have. It took off, did a few loops, and the commentator was cheering. Meanwhile, my neighbour's fence fell down in the last storm and the council won't answer her calls. We need less 'look-at-me' fancy hardware and more common sense on the ground.
