Wisconsin Department of Transportation just paved a fresh road in my neighborhood, and guess what? It’s already bumpier than a gravel track. The snowplow truck they sent through last week left ruts deeper than my aunt’s casserole dish. I’m all for safety and all that, but where’s the common sense in spending millions on asphalt that crumbles after one freeze-thaw cycle? Our tax dollars are literally getting scraped off into the ditch. Maybe the Wisconsin Department of Transportation should take a drive themselves and see what we’re dealing with here.
