AITA for telling my buddy, who shall remain unnamed but totally isn’t ‘matt brown,’ that his pre-planned funeral playlist is the most narcissistic thing I’ve seen since my last Instagram scroll? So, ‘matt brown’ allegedly spent 40+ hours compiling a 200-song Spotify playlist titled ‘matt brown’s Final Jamz,’ complete with an intro from his own voice memo. He apparently got it ready for when he dies, which, TL;DR, isn’t happening anytime soon since he’s 27 and eats kale. He played it for me during a hangover, and I laughed. He cried. Now the playlist has 5,000 streams on SoundCloud? Reddit, do I owe him an apology, or is this just peak Gen Z cringe?
