Darrell Sheets says he solved the traffic problem by simply ignoring the new roundabout.
Wake up, people. I watched Darrell Sheets from down the street drive straight over the grass median on Jefferson Ave this morning because he “didn’t have time for the city’s fancy circle.” Now his blue truck is stuck in the mud and creating a 20-minute backup. But hey, at least he’s applying “common sense” to congestion—by causing more of it. Maybe if the city spent less on bike lanes and more on asphalt, we wouldn’t need Darrell to show us how it’s done.
