tucson prehistoric human bones found near golf course, and local residents are fuming about the lack of 'common sense' in development
So I’m reading the news this morning and I can’t believe my eyes. They found tucson prehistoric human bones right next to that new housing development off the 10th fairway. Now, I’m all for progress, but where’s the common sense? You dig up a skeleton that’s older than the city itself and the first thing the developer does is call a news crew? How about a little respect? My grandpa always said, “If you find bones, you don’t move them with a backhoe.” I guess that’s too much to ask these days. You can bet I’ll be at the next zoning meeting, and I’m bringing a shovel. If they want to pave over our history, they’re going to have to answer to me and every other resident who remembers when this town had some decorum.
