**🚨 WILLIAM BUMPUS STRIKES AGAIN? 🚨**
Okay, I’m just gonna say what everyone else is thinking. WHO is this William Bumpus guy, and why does he have more rights than our locked front doors? 🙄
I saw him on the news this morning—again. He’s the guy who got arrested for “trespassing” after he walked into a stranger’s garage, grabbed a lawnmower, and sold it on Facebook Marketplace for $50. The homeowner chased him down the street, and you know what the judge said? “Release with a warning.”
A WARNING?! 😤
Common sense says if you touch what’s not yours, you go to jail. Period. But here we are, playing “find the criminal” bingo while our property walks off with a guy in a hoodie who probably has more warrants than my teenager has excuses for missing curfew.
If I walked into his garage and took his lawnmower, I’d be in cuffs before the grass dried. But Mr. Bumpus? He gets a “community service” tag and a pat on the back.
I’m not saying we need to hang him from the nearest tree, but can we PLEASE get some common-sense consequences? Lock him up until he learns that “other people’s stuff” isn’t a free-for-all.
