**FBI WARNING: If you use Outlook or OneDrive, you need to read this. My neighbor’s company just got HIT.**

"Look, I'm not the sharpest tool in the shed, but even I know common sense when I see it. The FBI just dropped a **CYBER FLASH** about Outlook and OneDrive, and frankly, it’s a joke that we still need to be told this in 2024.

The scam? Hackers are sending emails that look like a legit 'FBI Alert' or 'Microsoft Security Bulletin.' It says your OneDrive storage is full or your Outlook account is compromised. There's a big blue button that says 'VERIFY NOW' or 'RESTORE ACCESS.'

COMMON SENSE CHECK: The FBI does NOT email you asking to click a link about your personal OneDrive account. Microsoft doesn't care about your 5GB of vacation photos.

They want you to log in. You hand over your password and the 2FA code. They then steal your entire email history, your contacts, and start sending the same virus to everyone you know. My neighbor’s small business is now locked out of every single file they own. The ransom? $5,000 in crypto.

**The fix is free:** Delete the email. Don't click the link. If you HAVE to check, hover over the sender – it’s usually '[fbi.alert@outlook-support-temp.com](mailto:fbi.alert@outlook-support-temp.com)' or something equally stupid.

Use your head. If the FBI really needs to talk to you, they’ll knock on your door. They don't send a DM. Stay frosty."
