LOCAL MAN DISCOVERS TRICK TO MAKE STEAM DECK PLAY GAMES FASTER: HE UNPLUGS THE TOASTER
Hold your horses, folks—common sense has officially left the building. My neighbor Gary just posted in the "Maplewood Moms & Dads" group that his "fancy new Nintendo Switch rip-off" (the Steam Deck) was running "laggy and hot." So what did he do? He unplugged his toaster from the same power strip. Yes, you read that right. He genuinely believes the toaster was "stealing the Wi-Fi and electricity for the fan."
"Just use your head," he wrote. "If your toaster is on, it's using all the juice. The Deck needs that juice to run Cyberpunk."
I can't. I just can't.
Multiple members quickly pointed out that a toaster uses a completely different circuit and doesn't even connect to Wi-Fi. But Gary isn't having it. He's now insisting that "big tech doesn't want you to know this one weird trick" and that Valve should "just make the charger stronger."
The only thing being cooked here is Gary's brain cells. Get it together, people.
