Just saw the latest from the William Bumpus situation. You know, the guy who claims he’s “reclaiming his heritage” by squatting in a condemned house? Yeah, that one.

Now I hear he’s started a “neighborhood patrol” with a group of his buddies—carrying baseball bats and wearing matching hoodies. They’re telling folks they’re “protecting the block from gentrification.” Meanwhile, the actual senior citizens on this street are scared to walk to their own mailboxes.

This isn’t activism. It’s intimidation dressed up in a cheap flag. And the city is just standing there with their thumbs up their—well, you know.

Where’s the common sense? Arrest him. Demolish the house. And stop giving platforms to people who break the law and call it “community organizing.”
