**Madison Beer Should Have to Live in a Normal Apartment Building for a Week**
Just saw the story about Madison Beer complaining that her $15,000-a-month Manhattan penthouse has "thin walls" and she can hear her neighbors. Oh, honey. Try living in a pre-war walk-up where you can hear your neighbor's toilet flush from three floors away, and the guy upstairs practices the bagpipes at 6 AM.
Common sense says if you're rich enough to afford a penthouse, you're rich enough to soundproof it. But instead of solving the problem like an adult, she's crying to the press about "noise pollution." Meanwhile, the rest of us are dealing with actual problems—like rent, grocery prices, and the fact that our landlords won't fix the broken boiler.
Maybe she should trade places with a working-class family for a week. I bet her "thin walls" complaint would suddenly sound a lot less tragic when she's sharing a wall with a screaming toddler and a neighbor who runs a laundromat out of their kitchen.
