**"COMMON SENSE SAYS: IF YOU SEE A SEAL IN THE STREET, YOU DON'T PUT IT IN YOUR BATHTUB!" 🦭🚫**
I can't believe I even have to say this, but apparently "common sense" isn't so common these days. So this guy, Igor Lytvynchuk, finds a seal pup wandering around a residential area in South Africa. What does any normal person do? Call a wildlife rescue, right? No. This genius decides the best course of action is to grab the poor thing, toss it in his car, drive it home, and give it a nice warm bath in his tub. As if a wild marine animal is just a stray puppy.
Newsflash, Igor: Seals are not rubber ducks. They have bacteria. They have teeth. And last I checked, they need the ocean, not your Lavender-scented bubble bath.
Now the wildlife authorities have to step in, the seal is stressed out of its mind, and everyone is pointing fingers. The comments are full of people saying "He just wanted to help!" No. Helping is using the phone. Helping is not kidnapping a wild animal for a TikTok-like moment.
We live in a world where people have zero respect for nature and zero critical thinking. If you see a wild animal in distress, call a professional. It's not that hard. But I guess for some, "common sense" is just the "common" sense that no one seems to have anymore.
