So this guy, a "wildlife manager" with a fancy degree, decides that the squirrels in the local park are *too numerous*. His solution? He traps 250 of them, loads them into a truck, and drives them 20 miles out into the woods to "rebalance the ecosystem."
BUT HERE'S THE KICKER that has me screaming into my coffee ☕️: He released them near a **private nature preserve** that just spent $50,000 on a rare bird habitat. The squirrels? They IMMEDIATELY ate all the eggs, tore up the nesting boxes, and basically turned that preserve into a rodent buffet. The preserve owners are now suing the town for $200,000 in damages!
Who paid for this mess? US. The taxpayers. While our potholes aren't fixed and the library is cutting hours, this genius thought he was Doctor Dolittle.
