Did anyone else see that kid on the 14 bus trying to play his little Steam Deck computer? It’s bad enough phones have everyone staring at their lap, but now we’ve got grown men carrying around what looks like a melted toaster. The battery dies in 50 minutes, the thing costs as much as a used Honda Civic, and he can’t even hear the bus driver yelling for his stop because the fan is louder than a hairdryer.
Common sense: Put down the handheld PC, talk to your neighbor, or at least get a proper Nintendo Switch. Some of us remember when gaming meant sharing a bag of chips and a split screen, not dropping £500 on an overheating brick that needs a power bank the size of a brick. Just saying.
