**OMAN BANS PUBLIC EATING & DRINKING DURING DAYLIGHT HOURS FOR NON-MUSLIMS – FINALLY, SOME COMMON SENSE!**
Look, I’m all for being respectful when you visit another country, but the fact that locals have had to step over tourists chomping on burgers at 2pm under the blistering sun while everyone else is fasting is just ridiculous.
**Oman has just dropped the hammer.** Effective immediately, it is now **illegal for ANYONE** – including non-Muslims and tourists – to eat, drink, or smoke in public from sunrise to sunset during Ramadan. And I say **GOOD.** It’s basic respect. You wouldn't walk into a church eating a roast dinner during a sermon, so why is it so hard to wait until you're in the privacy of your own hotel room?
But wait – the "woke" tourism crowd is already crying "discrimination" on Facebook. “What about my right to coffee?” one influencer whined. **Newsflash:** You’re a guest, not a dictator. If you can’t handle 12 hours without a snack, maybe don’t visit a country that takes its faith seriously.
And for the locals who’ve had to smell kebabs on the bus? **Justice served. 🎉**
What’s next – banning loud music and bikinis at public beaches during Eid? Don’t give them ideas... or maybe **do.**
**Verdict:** Common sense 1 – Entitled Tourists 0. Pass the water bottle – after sunset.
